Author Guidelines
REQUIREMENTS FOR SCIENTIFIC ARTICLES
The scientific journal "Environmental and radiation safety" accepts previously unpublished works devoted to the problems of ecology and environmental safety, radioecology and radiation safety, environmental protection, human-environment interaction, biological safety - which contain new results of theoretical and experimental research or are reviews of the current state and current problems on the specified issues.
Manuscripts are submitted in Ukrainian or English.
The scientific article is drawn up in the text editor MS Word (font Times New Roman 14, line spacing - 1.5). Margins: top – 2.5 cm, bottom – 2.7 cm, left – 2.5 cm, right – 1.5 cm. Pages are not numbered. Text alignment by width. Do not use automatic placement of hyphens. References to the literature are enclosed in square brackets in the text of the manuscript (for example, [1]). Paragraph margin - 1 cm.
The article should be structured and consist of the following sections:
- Introduction (analysis of literary sources, purpose of research)
- Research materials and methods
- Research results
- Conclusions
- Reference list
The text is drawn up in the following order:
- UDC index, aligned on the left edge.
- Title of the article (all capital letters).
- First Names and Last names of the authors (in full).
- Academic degree and title, place of work, postal address, e-mail.
- Abstract and keywords in Ukrainian and English with a translation of First Name and Last name of the author(s) with a volume of at least 1,800 printed characters.
- The main text of the article: Introduction (indicating the purpose of the research), Research results, Conclusions.
- Tables and illustrations are numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals. Notes to the table are given only in the text. The illustrations are signed below. Captions to tables and illustrations are centered.
- Drawings and photographs (black and white, with gradations of gray) are "embedded" in the main text of the article and are additionally provided as separate files in one of the following formats: TIFF, PCX, JPG, BMP, CDR.
- Formulas must be typed using the Microsoft Word 2003 editor (MS Equation 3.0) with the formula aligned in the center, and its numbers in brackets on the right edge using tabulation TimesNewRoman 14 font without italics (see the guide on the department's channel (https:// youtube.com/@user-ir1dx2ho7y).
- Reference list is compiled according to the order of mention in the text. The word " Reference list " is highlighted in bold. When creating a list of references, you should follow the requirements developed in 2015 by the National Standard of Ukraine DSTU 8302:2015 "Information and documentation. Bibliographic reference. General provisions and rules of drafting".

The electronic version of the manuscript in Microsoft Word format (doc) in the form of a single file should be sent by e-mail to the editor's address (kafecobezpeka@ukr.net). In addition, it is necessary to provide files of drawings (photos) in one of the following formats: jpg, gif, pcx, bmp, tif.
